what kind of digital image is most popular on internet?

Answer
I think JPEG format is the most popular, this format is commonly for photos or pictures with gradient colors.

GIF is loosing popularity nowadays, this format is most suitable for images with less colors and straight lines. has animated feature.

PNG is gaining popularity, too many things to say on this format. Most people use this format to replace GIFs

For animations, Flash is the most used on the web.

I think the most are human photos in various styles.
